The original remains of the "Jesus Boat" discovered in 1986, is on display at the Jesus Boat Museum at Nof Ginnosar. A replica has been made and can be seen at the Kibbutz En Gev.

The boat measures 27 feet long and 7.5 feet wide. It was constructed with four staggered rowers and had a mast to allow for sailing.

Boats like this one played a large role in Jesus' ministry and in the lives of the disciples (many of whom were fishermen) and are mentioned about 50 times in the Gospels.
