The
Holy Place was a room 30 feet x 15 feet x 15 feet. The beautiful, cherubim patterned linen curtain could be viewed
through the framework in the front and on the ceiling. There were four golden
pillars at the entrance, and in the rear of the room, the veil, and behind it,
the Holy of Holies with the Ark of the Covenant. Inside the Holy Place, every
piece of furniture was golden; the menorah on the left, the table of showbread
on the right, and the altar of incense in the back before the veil.
